Kitchen Vitality Design provides the following services for residential renovations in Charlotte NC:
CONSULTATION
The process begins at the client’s home to discuss the scope of the project and to gather information such as style preferences, types of activities, storage requirements, timeline, and most importantly, the budget.
DESIGN CONCEPT
After the initial meeting, Kitchen Vitality Design will determine the design fee and present a formal contract stipulating details and terms of agreement. Once in agreement, the design process shall commence. A site survey and detailed measurements will be taken. A few layouts and CAD perspectives will be presented.
FLOOR PLAN AND RENDERINGS
A complete set of drawings will be provided once a proposed layout is finalized. Drawings include floor plans, elevations, construction plans, mechanical plans, countertop plans, and perspectives.
MATERIAL SELECTION AND PURCHASE
Materials will be selected at either Kitchen Vitality Design’s studio or at area showrooms. Selected materials can be purchased through the company with an additional contract or specified for bid through the preferred builder/contractor.
CONTRACTOR REFERRAL
Kitchen Vitality will collaborate with the hired team of people to execute the design to completion. The client may choose to work with their own general contractor or reputable contractors can be referred upon request.
INSTALLATION
Once a purchase of materials is made, installation can be arranged. Discussions with the contractor will need to be handled first. Only installation for cabinetry, electrical, tile, and/or wallpaper is offered.
VIRTUAL DESIGN OR CAD WORK
Quick layout or mood board are available via email for a small fee. CAD renderings for clients, contractors, or fellow designers are also available.
