Danielle Burger, CKBD, is a certified kitchen and bath designer and the owner of Kitchen Vitality Design. Her interest in interior architecture began at a young age and led her to pursue educational degrees in art and design. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Italian from Loyola University Chicago and an Associate of Applied Science in Interior Design from Harrington College of Design.
Danielle began her formal career decorating model units for condominium developments but soon narrowed her focus to the most important rooms in the home – the kitchen and the bath. For several years she worked in a high-end decorative plumbing and hardware showroom in downtown Chicago and later as a kitchen and bath designer for a showroom on the East Coast.
Each project over the past decade has helped refine and cultivate her approach toward meeting and exceeding client expectations through collaborative design. With ingenuity and passion, Danielle offers personalized service as she strives to create an aesthetically pleasing environment that is safe, functional, and unique for each client.
Danielle is a proud member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association. Not only has she achieved certification with the organization, Danielle was named the 2016 NKBAU Professional of the Year at KBIS and was awarded with 1st place in the Small Bath category at the 2017 National Design Awards. In addition, she has been featured in numerous magazines, including Kitchen & Bath Design News as a 2017 Top 50 Innovator and Professional Remodeler as a 2018 Forty Under 40 Honoree.
In early 2017, Danielle transitioned her business from Chicago, Illinois, to Charlotte, North Carolina, and has started to take on new projects, mainly residential renovations. When she isn’t consulting or designing, Danielle enjoys yoga, hiking, working in the garden, practicing the Italian language, and playing board games with her husband and two sons.
